Abstract: A new Differential Evolution algorithm is proposed which incorporates a linear regression strategy to find the best single-objective optimization solution. Furthermore, this algorithm contemplates directional information and classical chromosome conservation strategies. Its main motivation is to be used in problems in which it is computationally hard to calculate the fitness differences among solutions.
