This is achieved by means of a condition relying on the continuity behavior of the inf-convolution of their corresponding conjugates, with respect to any given topology intermediate between the norm and the weak* topologies on the dual space. Such a condition turns out to be also necessary in Banach spaces. These results extend both the classical formulas by Hiriart Urruty-Phelps [1993] and by Thibault [1997].<br \/>\nKey words. Jourani.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: #555\">Breve Bio<\/h4>\n<p>Abderrahim Hantoute es Licenciado en Matem\u00e1ticas por la Universidad de Oran (Argelia, 1998), M\u00e1ster (1999) y Doctor en Matem\u00e1tica Aplicada (2003) por la Universidad Paul Sabatier de Toulouse (Francia), y Habilitado para la Direcci\u00f3n de Investigaci\u00f3n (HDR) por la Universidad de Limoges (Francia) en 2011. Ha realizado estancias de investigaci\u00f3n posdoctorales en las Universidades de Alicante, Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez de Elche, y Limoges (Francia). En 2009 se incorpor\u00f3 al Centro de Modelamiento Matem\u00e1tico, Universidad de Chile, en Santiago de Chile, donde es investigador asociado.
