\nLa conferencia se centra en presentar la din\u00e1mica de las organizaciones y c\u00f3mo \u00e9stas dise\u00f1an su futuro de acuerdo a los intereses de sus miembros. Los agentes se agrupan en tres clases, productividad alta, media y baja. Se analiza la evoluci\u00f3n de las organizaciones que toman decisiones por mayor\u00eda sobre a qui\u00e9n contratar y c\u00f3mo repartir los potenciales beneficios de la organizaci\u00f3n entre sus miembros. El eje central es la evoluci\u00f3n del poder pol\u00edtico y se demuestra que, en algunos casos, los agentes racionales pueden ceder el poder pol\u00edtico a otra clase. Se pone de manifiesto que es posible la explotaci\u00f3n en las sociedades democr\u00e1ticas y se estudian sus determinantes. Finalmente, se concluye que algunas organizaciones podr\u00edan vetar la entrada de agentes de alta productividad porque su entrada pone en peligro el predominio de otras clases (desempleo pol\u00edtico).<\/span>

\nCarmen Bevi\u00e1 es Catedr\u00e1tica de Econom\u00eda en la Universidad de Alicante. Es miembro del Consejo Editorial de las revistas Mathematical Social Sciences y Law, Ethics and Philosophy (LEAP). \nAbstract:<\/strong>
\nThe paper focus on the dynamics of organizations and how they design its future according to the interest of their members. Agents are grouped into three classes, high, medium and low productivity. We analyze the evolution of organizations which take decisions by majority voting. We focus on the evolution of the political power and show that in some cases, rational agents who valuate the future may yield political power to other class. This is what we call the relinquish effect. We show that exploitation is possible in democratic societies and study its determinants. We also show that high productivity agents may be left in the cold because their entrance in an organization may threaten the dominance of other classes. We call this political unemployment.
\nBrief Bio:<\/strong>
\nCarmen Bevi\u00e1 is Professor of Economics at UA. She has been professor of Economics at UAB from 1996 to 2014. She has organized several national and international congresses included the organization of the 2009 EUROPEAN MEETING of the Econometric Society (ESEM). Professor Bevi\u00e1 is a member of the editorial board of Mathematical Social Sciences and Law, Ethics and Philosophy (LEAP). She has directed four doctoral thesis. Her work has been published in specialized journals such as the Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, Social Choice and Welfare, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Theory and Decision, Mathematical Social Sciences, and Economic Letters among others.[:]<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
